Extending Our Reach

Launched during a pandemic, the simplest way to distribute our meals on a large scale was by stocking the community fridges that were springing up throughout the greater Boston area. Conversations with non-profit, social service organizations soon followed and we offered our meals as a wraparound service. We are humbled by the work that all of our partners do and very grateful that we can support them by doing what we do well — easing the food insecurity of their clients. Help us, help them by making a donation to Village Table Wellesley!

Chaplains on the Way meeting

"Grateful"

I hope Village Table Wellesley knows how much their generosity and caring mean to us! Here’s an “action shot” from this week’s meeting. The art was handmade by Manny, a breakfast regular and an active, longtime member. If you zoom in, it says “grateful for the small things, big things, & everything in between”. Certainly our partnership with you is included!

"Pivotal"

As you know, for many of the clients who come to On The Rise, the food we are able to distribute is their only guaranteed meal of the day. Our clients absolutely loved the overnight oats that you sent along with the last set of meals! Thank you for being such a pivotal part of the support and care we are able to offer them.
