Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hearts
Village Table Wellesley offers nourishment as well as dignity to those who are food insecure by creating homemade meals with great love and care. Fully staffed with a vibrant team of multi-generational volunteers, we have access to a donated commercial kitchen and operate at the low cost of $3-$4 per meal.
Cook

We do all of our cooking from scratch with careful attention to nutritional value — protein and fresh vegetables — flavor, and visual appeal.
Package

A garnish of fresh herbs or a sprinkle of cheese may be a small thing, but it is one way we show our care and respect for those receiving our meals.
Deliver

We deliver to partner organizations as well as directly to families identified as in need, and we always make extra meals to fill local community fridges.
Our Story
Feeding Hearts: A Village Table Wellesley Story is a 2024 documentary directed by Abby Duffy and filmed by the Wellesley High School Film Club.
Shannon Kelly
Director
Under the leadership of Shannon, Village Table Wellesley has expanded its volunteer base, increased meal volume, and professionalized production by ServSafe-certified volunteers.
Partners
Food insecurity is a fact of life for many, estimated by the Greater Boston Food Bank as one in three people in Massachusetts. Many find it difficult to cook due to constraints on time, housing, and ability. Village Table Wellesley’s individually packaged meals largely reach food-insecure individuals in Greater Boston through our partner organizations.
Your Impact
Our simple keystone value is that we show up — when it’s easy and when it isn’t.
How will you show up?
